A view of the Cologne cathedral from the other shore of the Rhein River. About 1000 trains pass over this bridge daily. In the lower left you can also see the Museum Ludwig. During the French occupation of Cologne during the late 18th century, cologne was invented at the house at 4711, hence eau de cologne, the "water from Cologne."
